1. Who we are

This website and the EQS Stable Score are run by EQS Equine Data Solutions Limited (“EQS”, “we”, “us”), a company registered in Ireland.

We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy. It covers this website, the EQS Stable Score, our waitlist and the emails we send about the new EQS services. Our main EQS platform at app.equinedatasolution.com has its own privacy policy. If you already subscribe to EQS, see section 5.

You can ask us for the full details of how we balanced our legitimate interests against your rights.

4. Marketing and your choices

We only send you marketing emails about the new EQS services if you tick the optional consent box. We do not tick it for you.

5. If you already subscribe to EQS

If the email address you give matches an account on the EQS platform, we record that you are an existing subscriber and which EQS products your account uses (for example the racing and sales data platform, Sales Catalogues or jockey notes). We do this to understand how existing customers use EQS and what they need next. This match is made inside EQS: we copy the subscriber email list into the separate system that runs this funnel. It does not give the funnel access to your account, your payment details or your platform activity. If you would rather not be matched, email us and we will remove the tag.

6. Who we share your data with

We use trusted service providers who process data on our instructions (processors):

ProviderWhat they doWhere they process data
SupabaseDatabase and storage for the waitlistIreland (EU)
VercelHosts this website and its functionsFunctions run in Dublin, Ireland; the provider is a US company, see section 7
ResendSends our emailsUnited States and EU, see section 7
Cloudflare (Turnstile)Bot protection on the formGlobal network
Microsoft 365 / OutlookOur email mailbox and, if you book a call, our calendarEU

We may also share data with professional advisers (such as lawyers and accountants), and with authorities where the law requires. If our business is sold or reorganised, data may pass to the new owner under this policy.

We do not share your individual answers with other customers, and we do not publish them. We may publish aggregated, anonymous findings (for example, “most trainers named X as their biggest cost”) and may quote free-text answers only with your permission.

7. Transfers outside Ireland, the EU and the UK

Some providers may process data in the United States or elsewhere. Where they do, we rely on an approved safeguard: an adequacy decision (such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework for certified providers), or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses, with the UK addendum where UK law applies. You can ask us for a copy of the safeguards.

8. How long we keep your data

9. Your rights

You can ask us to:

Email info@eqs-equinedatasolutions.com. We will reply within one month. We may need to confirm who you are first.

The score and your lead grade are calculated automatically from your answers. This helps us decide who to invite first and which service to show you. It does not produce legal or similarly significant effects on you, and a person can review it if you ask.

10. Cookies and similar technologies

This site uses only what it needs to run the form: your browser’s session storage remembers your progress through the score until you close the tab. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. If that changes, we will update this policy and ask for your consent first.

11. Security

We use technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections, access controls limited to authorised people, and separation of the waitlist system from our main platform. If a breach is likely to put your rights at risk, we will notify the Data Protection Commission and you, as the law requires.

12. Children

This service is for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

13. Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we use your data, please contact us first at info@eqs-equinedatasolutions.com. You can also complain to the Data Protection Commission (Ireland): www.dataprotection.ie. If you are in the UK, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office: ico.org.uk.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. We will change the date at the top, and tell you by email if the change is significant and affects marketing to you. We will not reduce your rights without your consent.
